another wonderful Sunday

Today started at 9am for me. I just thought I could sleep in since it’s Sunday. It doesn’t look like it will be a hot day as this morning was sort of gray and cool. Out of my kindness I offered to take my wife out for shopping and also to look for things we can use to furnish our place.

We had decided not to go to China town in LA because it was quite a drive and there is an Asian mall just near Cathy’s parents’ place. We also took our dirty clothes with us so we can do our laundry there at her parents’ place. Sure enough the temperature started to rise as we got to the Asian mall. There we found two stores that sells Asian decoratives and pots and plants. We ended up purchasing this wall painting of horses that is broken into 4 large pieces and made out of lacquer. We have also purchased 2 lucky “feng-shui” plants for our place - the gold round treasure, and the eight fairies. Hopefully they will bring us luck and wealth :) .

Well, the rest of the day turned out to be quite fun as we had our brothers and cousins came over to enjoy the pool in hot summer days in May. Needless to say there were many people at the pool and also people BBQing by the pool. You just got to be there. Anyway, I also had a good workout session and more details can be found in the Health Watch section of my blog.
