Many people ask how to buy a computer. Computers have, no doubt, become a necessity in life for almost everybody.

It is very easy nowadays to buy a computer. The most prevalent in computer distribution is Dell. A few years ago if people were to ask me how to buy a computer, I wouldn’t have told them to go to Dell, Fry’s, CompUSA, or other major computer retail restores. Back then, you can go to a privately owned computer retail store and get your computer there! It was cheaper, faster, and your computer is made to order.

If you were to ask me how to buy a computer today, I would tell you to go to Dell to get your computers. Why? I used to dislike Dell because you can only buy a computer to what Dell has packaged it as. Not only have they enabled the computer buyers to specify what goes into that computer, their after service is also world-class.

It used to be that someone who is computer savvy would buy parts and assembly his/her own computer. I used to be like that. Well, no longer, even though I could get parts for cheaper and save myself a couple of hundred dollars overall if I assemble it myself, the qualify of the parts is still inferior to what Dell has, and one thing that really bugs me is that the fan craps out very soon, and it is very loud! Dell’s personal computers have very quiet fans and that one thing alone is good enough to buy your computers from Dell.
