I can not believe January has almost gone by in 2006. When people say “Time flies” they are not kidding. So what is your new year resolution for 2006? Did you look at 2005 in retrospect and what did you think of it? Did you have a productive year? For me, I’d rather just talk about 2006 and forget about things that have happened in 2005.

Here is my new year resoluation for 2006. Quit simply, I plan to increase my passive income by $100/day, to purchase 2 more rental properties, to complete my condo unit update (we had a fire back in Oct. 2005) by the end of the tax season (Yes, Cathy and I picked up a seasonal career at H&R Block for tax preparation), and to really exercise more frequently - I guess we get a lot of exercise by doing a lot of condo update ourselves, killing 2 birds with one stone!.

Since I run my own online publishing and marketing company, I have to do the math to figure out what the additional $100/day really means in terms of the daily tasks that need to be done. I have to admit that in 2005 I have not been really focused on a plan of action. I had “wandered” quite often and lacked a sense of direction. This year, I plan to change that. I will resolute to posting at least one new blog entry in my blog. It will be high school English class all over again - I can not possibly write that much, that frequently, unless it is free writing. And yes, in case you are wondering, my blog is making passive income for me.

How will I be exercising more frequently? Well, to be honest, our schedules are spread so thin we literally do not have time to hit the gym. We simply have too many things going on at once and we are hopeful that by April 15th, 2006 (Tax return due date) we should have a lot of time freed up. Anyway, that is about my plan for 2006.
