Blog came from Weblog. A blog is simply an online journal or diary for the non-technical people. A blog allows anybody with internet connection to instantly become a publisher.
What is blog for the technical oriented people? A blog is a script or web application that is very similar to CMS (Content Management System) script. The blog script is written so that it allows an author (or multiple authors) to login to the website and publish articles or posts, manage categories, posts, comments and the blog settings.
